Our 5 day courses are designed for 12-18 year olds. For details of our 2 day 'OJRC Fledglings' courses for 10-11 year olds please click here.

Monday 30th July - Friday 3rd August

To book a place please visit the 'How to Book' page or click here.
Do you offer Bursaries?
Yes we do. Please get in touch with us for more details and to be emailed the application form.
What will I need to bring with me?
All you need to bring with you is a few changes of clothes (a kit list will be emailed to you nearer the time), a water bottle and your lunch. Everyone will receive a welcome pack, course T-shirt and a rigger jigger (a vital piece of rowing kit) when they arrive. A morning and afternoon snack will also be provided, please ensure you tell us of any dietary requirements when you book.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes and there will be a capsize and swim test which everyone must pass on the Sunday afternoon before the course begins. You will be required to swim 100m, at least 50m of which must be on your back, tread water for 2 minutes and capsize a single sculling boat in the swimming pool. This is great fun and a good way to start making friends.
Can parents/carers stay and watch?
As you can appreciate the course will be extremely busy and the coaches need the athletes full attention at all times so we are afraid that parents/carers will not be able to stay during the sessions. However, there will be a 'Regatta Tea' on the Friday afternoon which everyone is welcome to come along to.
